Tuesday 6th feb - "Muhammad, the man who changed the world" Video lecture, Arts A1, 17.30 - 19.00

 

 

 

Wednesday 7th feb - Discover Islam Exhibition, All day (10.30 - 16.00) Mandella Hall

 

 

 

Friday 9th feb - Quran, the preserved and final word of god, Dr Haytem Tyeb, BSMS medical school, 17.30 - 19.00

 

 

Wednesday 14th feb - Sex, drugs and rock n roll, is there more to life? Abdur Raheem Green Arts A103, 13.30 - 15.00

 

 

We hope these events will provide a ground to help answer questions people may have about Islam, and to generally learn more about the religion and life.

Watch UN HQ and See Manhattan from a different angle

Hello dear friends and colleagues.

 

Here at last for the public to see are the videos of the Visit to UN HQ and the life of Manhattan.

 

Please click of the web address below if you have not signed up for You Tube. This only allows you to watch but you can not judge the video.

If you have already signed up for You Tube then after you log in please enter the name shakethepeer in the search box. This allow you to watch and grade the video.

 

Soon you will have an opportunity to watch the visit to Ground Zero (the twin towers). Here flowers were laid on behalf of the people of Brighton and Hove.

 

 

There will also be an opportunity to watch videos on the Asian Earth Quake as well as a chance to see hundreds of pictures. Live recordings were made of children and adults telling their stories.

Some pictures tell their own story and these need no person to explain them.
